A free tool that suggests music and adds the songs you approve to your own Apple Music playlists — either through a chat advisor on this site, or through your own AI assistant connected over MCP. You need your own Apple Music subscription. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple.
It can add to your playlists. It can never destroy anything. Apple's API offers no way to remove a track, rename a playlist, or delete one, so neither do we — by design, and by limitation.
There is no paid tier, no advertising, and no plan to add either. Apple's developer agreement forbids monetising a MusicKit app, and we abide by that.
The chat advisor on this site runs on inference we pay for, so it is capped — currently 50 requests a day without an account, and 1000 a month with one. These limits exist to control cost, and we may change them. If you want no limit, connect your own AI assistant: its subscription pays for the thinking, and nothing is capped.
You may delete your account and all of your stored chats at any time, from the sidebar. What we store and who it reaches is set out in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for what you type into the chat, and for the songs you approve. Do not use the service to break the law or Apple's terms.
SonaPrompt is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, it may make bad recommendations, and it may be discontinued. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it. It depends on Apple's services and on third-party AI providers, and we do not control either.
You can stop at any time: sign out, delete your account, or disconnect the MCP connector. We may suspend access that abuses the service — for instance, attempting to evade the chat limits.
